"One more for Railway Rivals!", or registration on Thursday morning. Pre reg for games was out the door and round the block wednesday night...

Evil Stevie's Pirate Game, where you can satisfy your urges for both pirates and Lego   Closer to a typical lego pirate sloop   'Puerto Rico' with some stalwart young men

Late night 'Junta', dissappointed that the third edition with new art and (hopefully) better rules wasn't quite ready.   These two gezzers deserve an award, or at least me remembering their names. A solid performance and expert knowledge all weekend at the Charity auction.

'Puerto Rico' again, I think these people are getting younger...

Aside: There are more people in just the two boardgame rooms at Gencon than at the whole of manorcon.

As I was heading up to Chcago on the second leg of the tour I thought it apt to take in a game of 'Family Business', just missing out on a T-shirt in the final shootout.   Proof that I can still play 'Kingmaker' for four hours and fail to reach a resolution, as is traditional.   "No, no no!" say this faction

"Yes, yes, YES!!", say the Yorkists, " We are ordering triple-layer, deep-pan pizza with extra pizza!"   More late night gaming with some usual suspects, this time classic 'Illuminati'   If you're stuck for something to do, they can always find a use for that spare 'Black Lotus' you have hanging around.

"You ain't gonna take Slab down!". Slab the Killer, centre in black, adds some role-playing to this game of 'Bang', with 'High Noon' expansion.   While I was unable to fulfil my ambition of attending a 'ZZ Top' concert (they were playing Des Moines), we did get Frank Metzner and...   Tom Wham to continue the Charity Auction on Sunday

Yes, I am a crap photographer...
